It is important that your business has a presence online in this age to succeed, and creating a Facebook business account is one of the measures to consider. Your Facebook business page is your online shop, where your customers or prospective customers can develop an interest in your business, make inquiries, learn about what you do, refer people, or perhaps lodge a complaint.
If you’re still hesitating about having your brand’s presence on Facebook, you’re missing out on the 1.85 billion daily active users on the platform! Your customers are there! And over 140 million businesses are already doing the right thing by tapping into this goldmine.
WHAT IS A FACEBOOK PAGE?
A Facebook page is where your business or brand has built a presence on the world’s biggest social network. It allows you to connect with customers and prospects by sharing content about your business, conversing personally with your page’s followers, responding to inquiries, and working with other customers and brands among others.
A Facebook business account is the same as a Facebook page account, and it is the only place to get all the tools needed to put products and services on display. Using a normal Facebook account as a business account will not do much. Besides, the maximum number of friends a normal Facebook account can take is just N5,000 while a Facebook page could take many followers even in their millions.
A Fb business will help to convert more than a normal Facebook profile. It will serve as your identity and could act as an online store. It is a place you can provide information about your products or services if you do not have a website. Even if you have a website for your business, a Facebook business page is a plus.
WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE A FACEBOOK PAGE?
1. Facebook Advertising
With your Facebook business account now active, you can increase the visibility of your business to a more targeted audience through Facebook ads. Facebook advertising helps you to target people based on their age, interests, and location.
These features will help people who need your product or service find you, and in return boost the growth of your business.
More importantly, Facebook ads helps you track the results to discover how people are relating with your ads and connecting with your website. It provides your audience with the required information, access to your site, find your store, download apps, and find available products.
Also, it is the cheaper alternative considering how much being charged for advertising on other platforms. With just $1, you could reach out to several people in or outside your regions. This is not an offer you should pass by if you are willing to do what it takes to put your business on the map.
2. Reach
Aside from Facebook ads, the platform’s algorithm also has its way of showing your content to people who have already shown interest in your kind of business through their likes, shares, and comments.
Consider posts you haven’t liked but you may have seen your friends interact with, and they are being shown to you. Your page’s organic reach will improve when you engage more with it.
Your Facebook page has a massive opportunity to reach out to billions of Facebook users. Think about how much you could even make if you are able to get a thousand to patronize you.
It is no doubt the world’s largest social media platform, and you can as well leverage it to improve your sales and business reputation.
3. Build brand loyalty
One of the main benefits of having a Facebook business account is to build brand loyalty. The more customers you garnered, the more trust people have in your brand.
New customers are more likely to trust a page that has deep interactions with its users and this could rub on them as well. Through their testimonies, and your willingness to attend to requests as soon as possible, further enhances the trust level of your Facebook Page.
4. Call-to-action
A call-to-action is a very potent feature that helps your customers take decisive action towards your business. The button can be provided in a variety of options. Check your page’s settings to create the most relevant call-to-action to your business.
They can appear in forms such as Sign up button, Shop now, Learn more, Book now, Send a message, Call now, and more. This feature is very crucial to generating leads, getting more interaction with your website, and understanding click-through rates.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO CREATE A BUSINESS PAGE?
Just the way you set up a Facebook profile without paying a dime, you can also have your Facebook business account for free. It stays free even when you begin to collect millions of followers. And when you choose to add a storefront to your page, it is still free.
But you may need to do adverts, and that’s not free. You can create adverts for as low as $1.
