If you are on this page, you are probably aware that any Glo phone number not linked with National Identification Number (NIN) will be blocked.
The NIN is a government-issued and unique number for every Nigerian and one that is currently managed by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). For most official assignments, the NIN has become one of the requirements to tender before an official can attend to you. For instance, there is no international passport without providing the NIN number.
Now that the directive has been given by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), it is now compulsory for everyone with a sim card to register for NIN especially when the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) is currently harmonizing NIN with the bank verification number (BVN).
It is on this information that the GLO network decided it needs to provide an easy way for customers to link their Glo network to NIN Number and then avoid visiting any of their experience centres.
This article will provide you with the code to dial and other information that might be needed.
