How does Smile 4G SmileVoice work

SmileVoice is charged in MBs to anytime and smile data plans when you make calls to any network in Nigeria. However, international rates apply.

When you make calls on Smile voice plans, it will be deducted in MBs as against what you are used to. For example, if you are using a 10GB Anytime (one year plan) plan and you make a 1 minute call to a local network, you will be charged 10.76MBs from your data plan, which equates to N8.22.

You will notice that call rate charged on smile 10gb anytime plan is lower that any call rate in Nigeria. This charge goes for N13.7k per second.

For instance, MTN charges N15 on MTN XtraSpecial and the same is also applicable to Airtel SmartValue by Airtel Nigeria. This is a fair rate if you ask me, the only time you will get it lower on other networks is if you pay the daily access fee or first minute charge.

• N3,070 SMILE VOICE ONLY gets you 430 mins at 11 kobo/sec to all networks in Nigeria. You can also make calls to international destinations at the standard rate. 30 days validity.

How to recharge smile voice plans
